Married couple Chris Holub, AKA Tin Monk (Vocal; Guitar), and Dianne Holzhammer-Holub (Vocal; Percussion) are Talking Machine, an acoustic power duo with nearly forty years of combined expertise as musicians, song writers, and performers, both in-studio and on the stage.

Talking Machine’s sound and approach are an amalgamation of their musical tastes in all genres, old and new. Although the group is acoustic, song arrangements and instrumentation are that of a fully formed rock group, delivering a full sounding, rhythmically driven musical experience.

Chris Holub: A three octave voice, percussively melodic rhythm and blistering lead guitars.
Dianne Holzhammer: A pitch-perfect powerhouse vocals, and metronomic percussion.
These two synergize almost metaphysically to create a sound complete, proficient, high energy, and raw.

Talking Machine can now be seen performing semi-regularly as a Quartet, which features Jim Lucas on bass and Sam Allen on drums.

Talking Machine recently released their debut album, The Hammer and the Dove released Sept 13, 2014, available for purchase through ItunesAmazonMP3 and wherever digital music is sold.
